Student Council
Our first Student Council was formed in 2016 to give pupils a formal voice in the school. Pupils are elected by their classmates and represent their views to school management. During our first election campaign, we had expert campaign advisors in then Minister for Health Leo Varadkar and then Táinaiste Joan Burton who both gave time out of their busy schedules to attend a Q&A session with our pupils. The Council work closely with the principal and have been responsible for a number of initiatives including the “Lunchtime Library Club” in the Library Garden, Pupil Suggestion Boxes and a monthly Pupil Newsletter.
