We have really enjoyed the run up to Halloween in the Prefab. Group work is a fundamental part of our learning in 4th class. We love to collaborate and work together, as you can see from the pictures below! We are looking forward to returning to school in November following the mid-term break and enjoying a busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas. Happy Halloween!
Welcome to Mr. Donaghy’s fourth class! As for all classes, September has been a very busy month. We learned all about the Romans in History, and Italy in Geography. We especially enjoyed creating Roman Gladiator clay heads last week for art. With Halloween approaching, we are getting into the groove with our narrative scary stories. Watch this space for some spooky characters, all created by the children in the Prefab!
After 6 weeks of Cycle Safety training, the children in Room 2 took part in a Cycle around the Phoenix Park. They were joined by Mr. Parker, who gave the children some wonderful facts about different parts of the Phoenix Park. It was a wonderful day out and the children particularly enjoyed the lap of the 15 acres! Just before our mid-term in June, the children welcomed some new pupils.
