Congratulations to Mr. Donaghy’s 4th Class who participated in this years Science Blast in the RDS on Monday, 2nd March. The class were investigating ‘What is the best time of day to exercise?’. The children organised surveys, collected data and presented their findings brilliantly to teachers, judges and children from other schools at the RDS. They really enjoyed taking part in this exhibition of.
We have really enjoyed the run up to Halloween in the Prefab. Group work is a fundamental part of our learning in 4th class. We love to collaborate and work together, as you can see from the pictures below! We are looking forward to returning to school in November following the mid-term break and enjoying a busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas. Happy Halloween!
Welcome to Mr. Donaghy’s fourth class! As for all classes, September has been a very busy month. We learned all about the Romans in History, and Italy in Geography. We especially enjoyed creating Roman Gladiator clay heads last week for art. With Halloween approaching, we are getting into the groove with our narrative scary stories. Watch this space for some spooky characters, all created by the children in the Prefab!
