Sport
We really enjoy sports here in St. Francis Xavier Senior School…..
It has been an incredibly busy and exciting year on the sporting front, and we are immensely proud of all our students.
We had numerous teams competing in various sports, including Boys and Girls GAA, Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Cross Country, Sprinting Events, and Climbing. We also took part in the Marathon Kids programme, SARI football against Racism and Bike Week events. The dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown by students has truly been commendable, and all students have represented our school with great pride.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the parents who generously volunteered their time to support our teams and give lifts. Special mention to Ellie’s Dad, Christopher, Sally’s Dad, David and Olivia’s Dad, Ronan who helped out with the Camogie team. Your involvement and assistance have been invaluable. Thanks to all teachers who took teams. We look forward to another busy sporting year.
