Gaelbhratach

Fuaireamar an Gaelbhratach!

Cad í an Ghaelbhratach?

Is scéim spreagtha í Gaelbhratach a thacaíonn le scoileanna atá ag déanamh iarracht an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn. Tá an scéim oscailte do scoileanna de gach saghas ag leibhéal bunscoile agus iar-bhunscoile. Bronntar Gaelbhratach ar scoileanna tar éis dóibh spriocanna éagsúla a bhaint amach. Baineann na spriocanna le ceol, ealaín, spórt, páirt a ghlacadh in imeachtaí/ imeachtaí a eagrú, agus go leor eile. Is í príomhaidhm na scéime ná cultúr de labhairt na Gaeilge ar bhonn neamhfhoirmeálta a chruthú agus a chothú i measc phobal na scoile agus eile. Is é Gael Linn atá i mbun reáchtáil na scéime le tacaíocht ó Chonradh na Gaeilge agus Glór na nGael.

What is Gaelbhratach?

Gaelbhratach is a scheme which supports and encourages schools in their efforts to promote the Irish language. The scheme is open to schools of all type at both primary and secondary level. Schools are awarded the Gaelbhratach upon successful completion of a variety of targets. The targets relate to music, art, sport, the organisation of and participation in events and much more. The primary aim of the scheme is to create and encourage a culture of speaking Irish informally within the school community and beyond.

The scheme is operated and coordinated by Gael Linn with support from Conradh na Gaeilge and Glór na nGael.
